Securing chalets inside Etosha, holding waterhole-view rooms 9–12 months ahead, coordinating the right outside-park lodge for each leg, and timing the in-park drives so they actually align with how the park works. We do that quietly, in NAD, at published rates.

What our team handles

• In-park rest camp bookings. We hold space at Okaukuejo, Halali, Namutoni, Onkoshi, Dolomite, and Olifantsrus through Namibia Wildlife Resorts (NWR) — including waterhole-view chalets when available.
• Adjacent lodge bookings. Mushara, Onguma, Ongava, Etosha Safari Lodge, Toshari, Mokuti, Anderson’s — and elsewhere in Namibia.
• NWR-coordinated game drives. Booked through camps for in-park early morning, afternoon, and night drives.
• Multi-destination route coordination. Etosha combined with Sossusvlei, Damaraland, Skeleton Coast, Fish River, Caprivi — booked as one route.
• Confirmation, deposits, and final payments. Receipts in NAD, deposit-only flow where suppliers permit.
• Itinerary documents. Day-by-day plan, lodge contacts, route map, gate timings — sent in one packet a week before departure.

What our team does not handle

We are accommodation and in-park-drive specialists. We do not supply vehicles, fuel, or driver-guides. We will recommend reputable Namibian vehicle hire and guided operators when relevant, but we do not invoice for them. The booking flow stays transparent: you see the lodge rate, the camp rate, the drive rate, and our 10% coordination commission — billed to the supplier, not added to your rate.

How the service works

1. Step 1 — Indicative itinerary, within 48 hours. Contact us with your travel window, party size, mode (self-drive or guided), and budget band. Our planning team sends an indicative route, lodge shortlist, and rough timing. No planning fee. Free to keep, change, or decline.
2. Step 2 — Refinement. Adjust dates, camp choices, budget band, regions. We re-quote with each change. No charge until a deposit is requested.
3. Step 3 — Firm quote with hold. Once direction is settled, we hold the accommodation with the suppliers and issue a firm NAD quote.
4. Step 4 — Deposit and confirmation. Standard supplier deposits range 25–50%. We process and confirm. Receipts in NAD, confirmation documents within 5 business days.
5. Step 5 — Final payment and travel pack. Balance due 30–60 days before travel depending on supplier. Travel pack delivered 7 days before departure.

Pricing principles

• Rates match published supplier tariffs. We do not quote below NWR or lodge published rates.
• No planning fee to the traveller. Our 10% coordination commission is billed to the supplier and is included in your published rate, not on top of it.
• NAD throughout unless your trip is being quoted in USD or EUR for a specific reason — and only after explicit conversion-basis disclosure.
• Indicative vs firm distinguished. Our first quote is indicative — useful for planning, not for payment. The firm quote is what we ask you to act on.
• Deposit and cancellation terms are supplier-specific and disclosed before any deposit is requested.

Credentials and accountability

• NTB Registered Booking Agent. Alux Travel CC is registered with the Namibia Tourism Board under the Tourism Board Act, 2000.
• Swakopmund-based. Estorff Street, Swakopmund. Same time zone, same banking system, same regulatory environment as the suppliers we book.
• Independent. We are not affiliated with NWR or the Namibian government. We are not owned by any lodge group.
• Editorial separation. We also operate etoshanationalpark.com.na, our independent Etosha planning resource. The editorial side is free; this concierge side is the booking service.
• Verified Google Business Profile — Alux Travel on Google Maps.
